Mays Tree Service

Mays Tree Service is a tree care company based in Lancaster, in the eastern suburbs of Buffalo, and its website says it has been working in the area for more than 30 years. The company lists tree removal, tree trimming, pruning and stump grinding among its core services, which covers the jobs homeowners call about most often: a storm-damaged limb, an overgrown tree pressing on a roof or power line, or a stump left behind after a removal. Mays serves a wide stretch of Erie County, including Lancaster, Depew, Cheektowaga, West Seneca, Amherst, Williamsville, Clarence, Orchard Park, Hamburg, Alden and Buffalo itself, so its crews are used to both tight city lots and larger suburban properties. The company’s site says its technicians are certified, but it does not give certification details or state insurance or license information. As with any tree contractor, ask for proof of liability insurance and workers’ compensation before work begins, and request a written estimate that covers cleanup and wood removal. You can phone Mays at 716-685-1929 or visit its website to ask about current availability and services.
