Al's Tree Service

Al’s Tree Service is a Buffalo tree care company whose website lists tree removal and trimming, stump grinding and plant health care, along with deep root fertilizing, firewood and a sawmill operation. Plant health care is the less common part of the mix: the company describes diagnosing and treating insect and disease problems, which can matter if you want to save a valuable tree before resorting to removal. Its stated service area stretches across the northern and eastern suburbs, including Tonawanda, Kenmore, Grand Island, North Tonawanda, Amherst, Williamsville, Getzville, Clarence, Wheatfield, Cheektowaga, Lancaster and West Seneca, as well as the city of Buffalo. The company says it carries full liability and workers’ compensation insurance, that its employees are drug tested and OSHA certified, and that a named ISA Certified Arborist leads its work. These are the company’s own statements, so you can verify the arborist in the International Society of Arboriculture directory and ask for a current certificate of insurance. Parts of the website look dated, so call to confirm availability and request a written estimate. You can reach the company at (716) 692-7041.
