Active Fence Company

Active Fence Company Inc is a Hamburg-based fencing business whose website says it has been building fences since 1973, which makes it one of the longer-running companies in this directory. Its list of services is broad: chain link, wood in cedar, pressure-treated, picket and board-on-board styles, vinyl, and aluminum or ornamental fencing, along with gates and gate repair, guardrails and handrails, swimming pool enclosures, dumpster enclosures and custom building materials. It also does commercial fencing. The company names West Seneca, Orchard Park, Buffalo, Hamburg, Cheektowaga, Lancaster, Lackawanna, Eden, East Aurora, Springville and Jamestown as places it works, so it is a good match for the southern and eastern parts of the region. Listed hours are Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., and the office is closed on weekends. The website does not state license numbers or insurance details, and it does not show a street address beyond Hamburg, so ask for a certificate of insurance and confirm where the shop is located if you want to see materials in person. Before you sign, compare written estimates for fence height, material, gate hardware, post depth and any removal of an existing fence. Phone (716) 202-2345 or visit the website to ask about current availability. A second phone number appears in the site code, so confirm by phone.
